I draw inspiration for some of my daydreamer sessions with children from other artists. Specifically children's book illustrators. In this particular instance I had found an illustration made by an artist called Correy Adams. There was a particular illustration from her story Kitty in the Pretties that I was drawn to, so I pinned it and got to work planning. When I put out the model call Amanda (the mommy of the cute little girl below) saw the image and said thought holy cow that IS my little girl and contacted me almost immediately after I had made the post in my FB Group (This is where I make all my model calls and other specials that are available only to group members, click the link to join)
I got the props ordered and Amanda's little one got to take them home with her, she especially loved the kitty. I am not sure if kitty ever got an official name though. Once everything was ordered we got a date set and met at a local park and then it was on. I had a great time. I'm pretty sure my little model had a blast. Mommy, well, mommy got chewed up by mosquitos and left with giant bites all up and down her legs....poor mom, the things they endure for their little people.
