Hi there! Today I wanted to share with you a little bit of what I am working on. I am working on some continuing education with the ultimate goal of being to offer some very specific artistic types of sessions.
One of my assignments is to write a paragraph that explains how you see childhood imagination. If you would indulge me, I would like to share my paragraph with you. When I think about children and their imaginations I think NO BOUNDARIES. What I mean is that children rarely limit themselves in their imaginary play. In their world they can go anywhere and do anything. Especially in absolute true imaginary play (what I mean is play that is not influenced by tv or movies). In the imaginary world trees can be purple and the sky can be pink. The limits only come later after grown ups have told them that trees can not be purple and the sky is only pink sometimes. Imagining is like dreaming with your eyes wide open. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get your feedback about how YOU view childhood imagination. Please comment below.
