Why I love weddings
The opportunity to photograph a wedding is a privilege. I get to tell a beautiful, personal story of love with my camera.
These stories are important. They document the day that two people unite and create a new family. These stories are lovely, emotional, joyful and exciting.
On your day I become immersed in the telling of your story. I find the beauty in all of the different moments of the day.
From the big obvious moments to the tiniest little ones.
I tell the story of you, as well as the people who are supporting and loving you.
I stand back and document all the moments that I can, from the tears to the big belly laughs and everything in between.
I'd love to be there to tell the story of your day through my lens from beginning to end.

the process
1. let's get to know each otherWedding photography is not like a simple portrait session. It's very personal. It's telling a story, your story, of one of the most special days of your life. To help me do that for you in the best way that I can we need to meet and get to know one another a little bit and make sure we are a perfect fit for each other. This meeting can be online through emails or skype. We can do a facetime or just chat on the phone. We can get together at the local Starbucks and chat. Whichever is option is most convenient for you, I just want you to feel comfortable with me so that we can share your love story together through photos. |
2. save the dateSo you've decided that you are ready to become a Daydream Weddings Couple. AWESOME! Now we must secure your wedding date. Once you have confirmed with me the wedding day collection you would like to book with I will send you a link to a wedding day contract as well as an invoice for 50% of your collection fee. Then you can decide if you would prefer to break the remainder of your fee into equal monthly payments or one final payment either way full payment will be due 7 days before your wedding date. |
3. The engagement sessionReady for a little fun?!?! Time to schedule your complimentary engagement session! That's right! ALL of my wedding collections come with a complimentary engagement session so that we can get to know one another a little bit more. This also helps you both to feel more comfortable with me and my camera so that on your wedding day you don't feel like I'm a complete stranger. For your session we will work together to choose a great location that fits your personalities as a couple. Then, you just have to show up looking great, feeling relaxed and ready to love on each other. I will coach you through the session so that you can be confident that you are looking great. About 10- 14 days after this session you will receive your online gallery where you will be able to download all of your images and with your permission I will write a blog sharing your engagement story and a few images from your session that you can share with all of your friends and family! |
4. wedding day timelineLadies and Gentlemen, I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this might be one of the most important parts of your wedding planning. Once you have decided to become a Daydream Weddings Couple I will send you some sample wedding day timelines to help you plan your own wedding day timeline. You will want to give a copy of the timeline to every single person involved in keeping your wedding day on track. These timelines will give you, me and all of the people responsible for keeping the flow of the day going a clear idea of how the day is supposed to go, including when formal pictures will be happening and how long we have to do them. About 4 weeks before your wedding I will ask for a draft of your wedding day timeline and 2 weeks prior I will request final draft with any changes. |
5. The big dayCan you believe it? It's finally here. Co |
6. Getting your photosThe planning is done and the party is over, now you're ready for your memories! It's gallery time! About 4 to 6 weeks after your big day you can expect to receive an email with a link to your online gallery, and because I know we don't all check our emails every day, I will also text you to let you know your email is waiting in your inbox. I encourage you to sit down at a computer download your images and save them to two different places. Then, grab a beverage of your choice, snuggle up on the couch and relive the day together. If you chose a package that included print product, now is the time to choose your images. Once you have submitted your choices you can relax and wait for your products to show up at your door. Thank you for allowing me to capture your most important memories! |
